Baptism for children under 7: Classes for parents and godparents are held every month in English and Spanish. Please register in the parish office; a birth certificate is required. Non-baptized children 7 years of age and older need to attend RCIA.
First Communion for children: Students must be baptized. Preparation time for children is for 2 years. It is recommended for the student to be in 1st grade of elementary when they begin preparation. Children in Catholic School attend Catechism there.
Confirmation for adolescents: Students must be baptized and have received his/her first Holy Communion. It is recommended for the student to be in 10th or 11th grade. Preparation is only one year, beginning in September and ending in June with the reception of the sacrament.
Confirmation for adults: The candidates must be baptized and have received his/her first Holy Communion. Preparation is during lent (about seven catechesis). The confirmation ceremony takes place at another church with adults from several parishes.
Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA): This program is for children 7 years of age and older and for adults who need the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist (Communion) and Confirmation. Come to the office to register.
Marriage Preparation: The engaged couple should request an appointment with a priest or a deacon preferably six months before the wedding date in order to begin the preparation process. Updated copies of the certificate of baptism of the bride and the groom are needed.

Preparation for Fifteens Celebrations "Quinceaneras"
Parents with daughters/sons who will be celebrating fifteens should register at the parish office to reserve a date. It is an opportunity for the girl to receive First Communion if she has not received it yet. Your child needs to attend preparation classes for fifteens, 713-692-6303, ext. 10
